Georgia Initiative for Community Housing (GICH)

As a proud GICH alumni city, East Point continues to advance its housing goals through collaboration and shared learning. Our GICH partnership helps shape policy and guides efforts in housing affordability, anti-displacement, and revitalization.

For Developers: Opportunities & Current Developments

We welcome partnerships with developers who share our vision for inclusive growth. Opportunities include:

  • Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Support The city provides letters of support for qualifying LIHTC projects that align with local housing priorities.
  • Current LIHTC Projects East Point is actively advancing several developments, including The 55, a 60-unit affordable and mixed-income housing community planned for 2025, Wagon Works Phase I, currently under construction, Wagon Works Phase II a proposed complex with up to 50 affordable residential units.
