Public Hearing Meeting Information
- Commission Work Sessions are held virtually on ZOOM on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM.
- Commission Meetings are held in person at City Hall – Council Chambers, 2757 East Point Street on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7 PM.

Planning & Zoning Meeting Types
Community Zoning Information Meeting – CZIM
The Community Zoning Information Meeting (CZIM) is an informal meeting that allows an applicant who is requesting a rezone, special use permit, variance and/or zoning modifications to present their project to all citizens and stakeholders who may have an interest in their proposal.
All meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday at 6:30 PM via Zoom platform.
Planning & Zoning Commission Work Session
The Planning & Zoning Commission Work Session is held for Planning & Zoning Commission members and zoning case applicants to discuss pending cases in advance of formal consideration. These meetings are open for public viewing, however public comment is not allowed.
All meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday at 6:30 PM via Zoom platform.
Planning & Zoning Commission Regular Meeting and Public Hearing (PZCM)
The Planning & Zoning Commission Regular Meeting and Public Hearing (PZCM) is where Planning Commission members review cases, hear presentations from applicants, and consider planning and zoning matters. The meeting includes an opportunity for public comment before the Commission takes formal action.
All meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday at 7:00 PM in East Point’s City Hall Council Chambers.
