No-Cost Minor Home Repair Program

The City of East Point is proud to offer a No-Cost Minor Home Repair Program designed to help qualifying homeowners maintain safe, livable housing. With $350,000 funded through federal and local resources, this program provides essential repairs at no cost to eligible residents through Greenheart Construction and HouseProud. The program targets seniors and veterans who meet specific criteria, and the City is currently working through the waitlist to serve residents.

What the Program Covers

Eligible repairs may include (but are not limited to):

  • Roof patching or minor replacements
  • Plumbing or electrical repairs
  • Accessibility improvements (ramps, handrails, grab bars)
  • HVAC servicing
  • Flooring and safety hazard removal

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Meet income eligibility requirements
  • Have an income of 80% AMI or lower
