The Human Resources Department strives to ensure that City of East Point salaries are competitive. The department annually conducts salary surveys on various positions as a means to monitor the competitiveness of the City’s pay plan. This and the City of East Point’s excellent benefits package have had a positive and profound effect on employee retention.

The mission of the Human Resource Department is to support the City by developing and implementing high quality, state-of-the art personnel programs, thereby allowing employees to focus their efforts on providing East Point citizens services that enhance their quality of life.
